Beaches and Coastlines
Salvador da Bahia has the longest coastline in the entire country of Brazil, with over 300 beaches and about 56
Islands. During the week surfing, diving, strolls along the
coast and sun bathing are a common scene. Most visitors like
to reserve their energy for the weekend when the beaches
transform into a lively affair. You can expect to enjoy
floating stages for 24 hour performances, artist fairs,

Neighborhoods
Salvador’s diverse influences are reflected in it's many
distinctive neighborhoods. Salvador da Bahia is divided
into 17 official zones. Make a day of visiting the town of
“Brother Sun”, or “Harbor of Repairing Vessels”. Find out if
the town of “Liberty” and “Soft Wind”, live up to their

its cobblestone streets. Visit the museums and churches, rich with culture and decorative works. Indulge in a breathtaking
